INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA SUDAMERICA is organized by FIMAULE FOUNDATION in partnership with the German Wine Grower Association and the Messe Stuttgart International, and managed by a Directive Board, established by representatives of the main private and public entities, connected to the wine and fruit industry.

Fimaule Foundation is a private non-profit organization, which is composed by the associations of the 300 most important enterprises of the region in the agricultural, industrial, and commercial fields with their main offices in Talca.

Fimaule Foundation is the main private institution in the region, which is source and host of many important activities and regional, national and international events, what is confirmed by 44 years of experience in the fair business.

SPONSORS
The fair is officially sponsored by the Chilean Government and counts on the Sponsorship of: the Ministry of Agriculture, the Regional Governor of Maule, through their Programs Wines of Chile 2010 and Fruits of Chile 2020, ProChile, the Regional Agency for the Development of Maule, the Chilean Wine Corporation, the National Association of Enologist Agronomist, the University of Talca, the Wines of Chile Trade Union, the vineyards of the Maule and Curicó Valley and the acknowledgement of the Association of International Fairs of America “AFIDA”.

INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA sudamerica 2008 is the 5th version of a specialized biennial fair for the technification and the equipment of the wine and fruit sector, productive sectors generators of a high demand of machinery, equipment and supplies.

CUSTOMS EXEMPTIONS
Due to the international character of the fair, the samples of the trade goods coming from overseas can be submitted under the customs exemptions of the Chilean law that permits a temporary duty and tax free entrance during 180 days.

MAULE REGION-CHILE
The fair takes place in Talca city, the capital of the Maule Region. It is located 255 km south of Santiago, right in the heart of Chile’s wine and fruit production . The Region has a land area of 31.518 km² and an estimated population of 991.542 inhabitants.

PARALEL ACTIVITIES
Related to the fair important seminars, technical speeches, specialized conferences and also business and entrepreneurial meetings as regard as the fruit and the wine areas are carried out.

GUIDED VISITS
In order to allow the foreign exhibitors and visitors to get acquainted with the current situation of the Chilean wine and fruit, many guided visits to the vineyards, plantations and wine cellars of the region have been scheduled.
